First produced in 1976 for the 1977 model year the Z1000 (Kz1000) was built to replace the Z900 (Kz900)
This 1977 example is powered by a 1015cc inline 4-cylinder engine producing 90hp, enough to propel the bike to a top speed of 132mph
These bikes were was available in chain drive and shaft drive formats, this bike is a chain drive variant
It's in its original colour scheme of Diamond Wine Red with gold coachlines
Confirmed in running condition but recommissioning is recommended before use
