The Volkswagen Passat W8 was introduced in 2001 at the Geneva Motor Show as the flagship model of the B5. 5 Passat range. Aiming to rival luxury sedans, it featured a unique 4. 0-litre W8 engine, derived from VW’s innovative W-configuration technology, producing 271bhp and 370Nm of torque.
