Background:BMW introduced its M6 model in 1983 as the top-of-the-range E24 6 Series model, initially badged as the M635CSi in most markets but simply as M6 in North America and Japan.
M6 production ceased with the replacement of the E24 in 1989, but after a hiatus of 16 years, BMW surprised enthusiasts by reviving the M6 badge in the E63/ 64 model range, slotting in the S85 V10 and automated manual gearbox used in the E60 M5.
Available as both a coupé and a convertible, the M6 uses the same BMW S85 V10 engine and SMG-III automated 7-speed manual gearbox as the E60 M5. This packs a serious punch with 500bhp on tap from its 5. 0 V10, covering the 0-62 sprint in just 4. 6 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 155mph. By the time production ceased in 2011, the convertible had been produced in half the numbers of the coupé, with just 5, 000 built worldwide.

The full service included all filters, oil, brake fluid, rear brake callipers, a new alternator, and battery. Critically, the rod bearings have been done. The SMG gearbox was also serviced, with a replacement clutch. All the work is backed up with the relevant invoices.
