Description
The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced in the UK from 1923 until 1939. Nicknamed the "Baby Austin", at that time it was one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its impact in the UK was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars and cyclecars of the early 1920s.
This 1927 example has been in long term storage, and is offered as an untouched project.
The engine does turn over and all gears can be selected, you will notice the magneto is missing which hopefully may turn up, however we cannot guarantee this.
The body work is very much oily rag unrestored condition and would make a fantastic trails car. The interior has been retrimmed at some point, and the hood is complete however the material would only be good for a pattern.
The car is fitted with new tyres and tubes all round, we do have some history with the car including its buff logbook and current V5.
The car is MOT and TAX exempt, including ULEZ compliant.
