This model was produced in limited numbers during the history of the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, and consequently is truly unique. Subsequent series of Beta Montecarlo were no longer produced in this colour, so there are very few left in the world. Black number plates and 1979 first registration book with Novara province, only three owners from new. This Lancia Beta Montecarlo is very special, as it has been cared for to the highest standards throughout its life. The bodywork is in exceptional condition and has never undergone any work. The interior is in perfect condition, the car has only 63, 000 km. As part of the extraordinary maintenance work, it was decided to seal all the cracks in the bodywork with special 3M resin. The interior was then entirely soundproofed with high quality materials. More performance suspension was installed, traditional bushings were replaced with polyurethane bushings, coil-over shock absorbers and suspension parts were completely powder-coated.
Another very important and costly upgrade includes a 5th gear with a longer ratio, thus optimising the original ratios that were too short for modern high-speed driving. The gearbox linkage has also been replaced, offering much cleaner and more precise gear shifting.
