Recently recommissioned
Coming to us from a deceased estate, this 380SL has recently been recommissioned following a period of storage.
The car itself presents very nicely. The cream paintwork is in tidy condition overall, although there are signs of bubbling on the rear offside arch and nearside passenger door and front wing - although this doesn’t detract from what is a great looking car.
The exterior is enhanced with Mexican Hat alloys and the aforementioned hardtop. The chromework appears in decent condition.
The brown / tan interior is very attractive, though it has some marks and signs of wear, and the cloth trim in particular compliments the cream exterior very well.
All dials seem to work, although we noticed the ABS light was illuminated on the dash.
The brown soft top appears in good condition with little signs of wear.
There is not a huge amount of paperwork, aside from a V5, a couple of invoices for work carried out over the years, previous MOT certificates and MOT history, and an owner’s handbook.
Overall, a tidy example of the marque.
