The R3 generation Rover 200 was introduced in 1995 and a replacement for the acclaimed R8 200 / 400 range.
Attractively styled, this particular low mileage example features a 1400cc 16v K series engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and is in mid-range 'Si' specification.
We believe the Rover was in storage since the early noughties all the way through to 2023 when it was recommissioned with the benefit of new tyres, windscreen wipers, and a new battery. This would account for low mileage indicated.
The exterior has a number of small imperfections and evidence of paint spidering and minor corrosion. There is also a small dent in the bonnet. The supplying dealer sticker is still in the rear window and the front and rear registration plates look original, again with the supplying dealer logo present.
The interior looks great with only very minimal signs of wear and tear - and in keeping with the mileage indicated. The driver's side door card material has come away from the backing but other than that the seats and plastics are in fine fettle. The tool kit in the boot is still wrapped in its original plastic.
The Rover comes with its original book pack, which includes a service book containing a few stamps from 1999. We also have a spare set of keys and fob.
Overall, this is a tidy version of Rover's popular 200 model with a super low mileage indicated - and even better it's available at no reserve!
