RENAULT CLIO WILLIAMS 2 1995
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a low mileage, cherished and right up to the mark Clio Williams 2.
Collector Quality - exceptional 1995 Renault Clio Williams 2 in outstanding condition, which is reflected by the fact it has just 35, 000 miles and has been kept garaged for nearly all its life. The original owner bought it from an Authorised Renault dealer in London in February 1995, it was then bought by a gentleman from Nottinghamshire in 1998 and it remained in the same family ownership for 24 years (with registered keepers being the father, son and then the mother). I have every MOT certificate that corresponds to the mileage slowly accumulating over the years, plus all tax discs . As you can see from these images taken at the end of October, the exterior is in excellent condition.
The interior is in immaculate condition throughout with no visible signs of wear and the underside is also in excellent show-worthy condition. The engine bay is in outstanding condition; there are no leaks or mechanical issues. The car has had a recent £2000 service at a Renault specialist where the work included a new cambelt, water pump, battery, and alternator to ensure trouble free running. It also had new discs & pads all around, and refurbished callipers too. This work was carried out approximately 600 miles ago, and the MOT is valid until September 2025. All electrics are fully functioning, including the central locking and the original Cobra immobiliser. All buttons, dials, and gauges are fully functional with good mechanisms.
The paintwork is excellent order, including in and around the doors and on the sills (which are completely rust free). All four wheels are unmarked with original gold finishing and the spare is in good order and all are fitted with virtually unused Michelin tyres. This Clio Williams is original to the best of my knowledge with three additions: a fully functioning CD-multiplayer (unit in the boot); an upgraded exhaust (partly stainless steel); and a gold Williams badge on the dashboard (which was standard on the Williams 1). The comes with a set of black Williams F1 Team floor mats, and a fully fitted indoor car cover which was made to measure.
Supplied with the car are two sets of original keys, the original manuals, every MOT since new, and every tax disc. Great examples of these are getting harder to find - especially with this mileage, ownership and condition.
