2002 Audi S8 Final Edition in Avus Silver with Mauve leather interior.
Released March 4 2002, Audi has announced special edition version of the S8 model.

On top of that, this example comes with heated front seats, large screen Audi Navigation Plus GPS system (rather useless nowadays), rear window electric blind, rear side windows blinds, tilt and slide sunroof, electric adjustable and heated power fold external mirrors (made of real aluminium), double glazing windows, front and rear parking sensors, original Audi detachable towbar.
Bodywork is good but not great – some age related marks/ scratches on both bumpers, two little dents on the doors, one little dent above rear right indicator lamp. Otherwise very shiny and solid. Considering the fact that all panels wear original paint – not bad. Some stone chips on the bonnet and bumper were treated with touch-up pen. New Xenon bulbs fitted recently as well as new wiper blades.
Engine and transmission are good with no known issues. No leaks whatsoever. In February 2021 at 163000 miles it had all pulleys, cambelt and water pump replaced. Spark plugs (NGK) replaced at 158000 miles. In October 2024 it has received a fresh 0w40 engine oil and oil filter, fuel filter and a pair of pollen filters. New viscous cooling fan clutch fitted made by BEHR (just in case...). Automatic transmission and torque converter rebuild at 123000 miles by Stephens Engineering Automatics in Thundridge.
Suspension, brakes, steering – the suspension is tight and silent, front brake discs and brake pads have plenty of life. Rear discs and pads are 50% worn, but will easily last for another 2 years. Brake fluid changed in October 2024.
Tyres, rims - All four tyres are matching Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 with 6-7mm of tread left. These are £180 each plus fitting. Specific for the Final Edition 8, 5x20 9-spoke alloy wheels has been stripped from the old finish and powder coated earlier on this year. Straight, never welded.
Interior – fantastic fully electric adjustable Recaro leather seats with drivers memory. Finished in exclusive for Final Edition model 'Mauve' extended leather interior. Real dark polished Myrtle wood trim. Headlining not sagging in good, clean condition. Leather upholstery with a few little marks/ discolouration ares. Carpets are not super clean but not ruined. Floor mats clean. Everything works less the rear electric blind (needs a new motor) - heated seats, all electric windows, electric heated mirrors, sunroof and remote central locking. Air Conditioning works. The original two tone (grey/ mauve) steering wheel will be fitted before the sale – it has been removed to be re-conolised. The S8 comes with 2 keys, manuals, service history, and is HPI clear.
