A previous owner must have preferred an earlier style grille (until model year 1955) with four horizontal bars, which gives the car an even more classic appearance. The other details are correct for the 1957 model year. The Volvo was sold new in the Netherlands and registered on May 31, 1957. The automobile was restored many years ago. The car is in good driving condition. The bodywork is intact, the paintwork is good and the bodywork finish shows some patina. The interior is a true time capsule and shows signs of wear.
