Description
1936 Riley Sprite replica body on an original Kestrel chassis with matching Riley engine, originally built by an owner who had an original Riley Sprite in his extensive collection but didn't want to use an original car in longer rallies, so he rebuilt this car for use in tougher events and use the original for exhibitions.
Built using a 1936 Riley 12/ 4 Kestrel with matching numbers as donor, all the racing equipment was modified to match the correct 'under-suspended' Sprite specification. Engine configured exactly to 'Sprite' specification with a little extra tuning for the increased power needed for modern driving conditions, an absolutely fabulous Riley to drive with matching engine and chassis numbers. Half the price of an original Sprite and just as much fun.
