Welcome to the sale of this brilliant Volkswagen 1986 T25 T3 Karmann Gipsy Motorhome. We have an amazing history file with this bus, including when it was first registered in Dusseldorf on the 19th February 1986. Full service history. Over £100, 000 in receipts & a massive folder of paperwork. It was carefully looked after by just 2 owners in Germany before being imported to the UK in 2008, & was always garaged by them.
Absolutely rock solid, no wood rot, not your usual damp coach built! It has been well looked after always dry stored! Factory body kit/ side pods looks fantastic along with big front bumper, square headlights and extra fog lights in lower grill and splitter. Very rare options. Lowered on 16x8 16x9 rial mesh alloys in 5x130. Brand new tyres all round. These were a dealer extra on a Porsche 964. These wheels are £3500 alone. Drives really nice & the ride isn’t harsh. New Willwood 4 pot front brake set up. With custom built hubs in 5x130 and 5x112 stud pattern. From Fellows speed shop these haven’t been on long and are like new costing £2000. Mechanically sound original 1. 6jx turbo diesel. In the last 3 years it’s had, cambelt and water pump, recon gear box as well as regular servicing. In the last year, it’s has had a new exhaust manifold & gaskets, new inlet gasket, turbo gasket, new turbo and pipe work, a full service and front brakes.
The current owner has completed 2 trips around Europe and many UK trips this year and it will cruise at 60-65 with ease and is a pleasure to drive, very responsive and also fantastic on fuel. All windows work as the should open and close with no broken catches or stays and being double glazed they keep the van nice and warm. It’s a 4 birth double bed above the cab, the rear seating area folds down to a double bed as well! 3 way fridge works on all 3 settings, gas stove, original water boilers and heater, and tons of storage, and a nice size wardrobe. Has recently had 2 new leisure batteries. The cab area is in fantastic condition with everything working as it should. The door cards are complete & just a little rippled as they do. Front passengers seat also swivels round so it faces the rear of the van. The outside of the van is in really good condition, the paint work has a nice deep shine with a few age related marks but nothing serious!
