The car on offer here is an original Dutch-consigned Kensington which was originally fitted with SG-ZR-05 as registration plate, the registration it still boasts today. With it being an original Dutch car, the full ownership and mileage is known and warranted. SG-ZR-05 has resided in the hands of a select few owners up until 2012, who have left the car unused and untouched as registration documents indicate that it had only covered a mere 52 km's (!) on 26-10-2012. It was then purchased by its previous caretaker, a Dutch gentleman with sincere appetite for the finer classics with very low mileages only, who has kept it until November 2024 when we acquired it.
The aforementioned previous owner wanted to keep the MINI in its utmost form both technically and aestehtically and the best way to do that is also to actually use the car (although sparingly) to make sure all mechanics keep in fully functioning order. Over the 12 years of ownership the car has accumulated about 3. 800 km's, which translates to about ~300 km's per year. Today the MINI presents in nothing short of mint condition, boasting 100% first paint and still has all the original factory markings, weld spots and details in place all-round. The interior is much of the same affair, just showing negligible signs of use (if any) to the leather or carpeting. What we have here is an as near as makes no difference brand new MINI. The car performs marvelously on the road and is a joy to drive, all electrics and ancillaries are fully functioning without exception.
Today it is accompanied by all original accessories including the toolroll, jack, spare wheel and all factory booklets and documentation. The dedicated history file which accompanies the MINI also contains invoices of the past 12 years by marque experts only, which is a testament to this MINI's great provenance. Two full sets of keys as well as the original 1997 registration plates are also present. If one wanted to know what an original, near new Classic MINI is actually like - this surely is an opprtunity not to be missed!
