It's lovely to see such beautiful paintwork which has been looked after by Lee Crammon of Crash Magic, keeping it in tip-top condition. It's finished in its original Tiaga Green L63H, which is set off with a Pastel White roof & chrome bumpers. Being a Westfalia SO-P24, it was specifically built for the French market, differing very slightly from the more commonly found Helsinki model. The current owners have had "Kermit" about 3 1/ 2 years ago & have absolutely loved every moment & it has a great history file. This includes receipts for a recondition 2litre Type 4 engine from The Engine Shop which still runs the original fuel injection, which is fantastic.
Open the cab door to reveal the epitome of '70s vibrant décor & upholstery. The famous Westy green plaid seats are the high-back versions for added comfort, which tie in with the matching door panels & carpet. You'll spot a CSP shifter that has been added for a more precise gear change & considered the best on the market. Step through the walkthrough into the main camping area & the plaid upholstery continues on the full-width rock'n'roll, side seat & solid hard double bunk in the elevating roof. The roof canvas is in super condition, having been recently replaced. Within this, there are zipped panels that allow light to flood in, whilst still offering netted screens for security & to keep the bugs out. Above the cab is a roof rack which can be accessed through the opening at the front of the roof canvas.
The SO-P24 offers a stainless steel sink, a wardrobe with an internal mirror, a folding retractable table. A gas hob, recent 12v compressor fridge & plenty of storage throughout. The rear seat is fitted with seat belts which is a nice addition. The curtains and track are a more recent addition as well, to keep the camper feeling fresh & clean.
