For sale is a L reg Mazda MX5 Eunos 1. 8 Roadster. Manual gearbox. Finished in metallic red.
Covered 132, 000 miles which is a mixture of miles / kms. Just had a service with new spark plugs, oil, oil filter, fresh coolant/ anti freeze. Many new parts fitted recently, 4 new tyres, new front brake calipers, all four shock absorbers.
Just Mot’d which now expires October 2025. I have had a look around this when it was at the garage and the underneath is in very good condition.
Purchased from a chap who’s now in his 70’s and just wasn’t using it enough to warrant insuring and taxing yearly. Last owner since 2006. Maintained and cherished by him since, although there is no service records he assured me that him and his friend (a retired mechanic) regularly serviced the car and changed parts when required. You can see that the parts mentioned such as tyres, brake calipers and shock absorbers are literally brand new!
Usual Eunos JDM specifications, electric windows (passenger not working - although can hear motor), Power Steering, CD player. Also has some lovely red/ chrome alloy wheels KONIG brand - which is a high quality rim!
Pop up lights, cloth interior and soft top roof which is in very good condition. Unfortunately in 2012 the hardtop was stolen - there was no body damage to any of the panels - only the hardtop was stolen, because of this it does show up on the HPI register, although it does not effect the value or use as it was over 12 years ago.
A few years ago the nearside rear sill was replaced which can be seen in the pictures. I have a video of the whole car but cannot upload to this advert as it is just over 3minutes long - I can WhatsApp this to any genuine buyer.
Overall a lovely example of a nice solid mx5 Eunos. Ideal weekend toy, being over 30 years old it benefits from qualifying for classic car insurance which can be as little as £200 for the year!
