History
Built in late 2005 the Blobeye Impreza Widetrack is strongly considered a sweet spot of the modern Impreza, utilizing a great chassis, whilst retaining the 2. 0L engine which is often perceived as being superior to the later 2. 5L models, with reliability & tuneability being much better with the 2. 0L.
This car has lived locally with the same owner since July 2006, only selling the vehicle to us, to get something more practical for his grandkids.
With this Impreza there is a comprehensive history file, with detailed service & mot history & the all important Prodrive Performance Pack Certificate.
The most recent service was completed by ourselves in our dedicated workshop where we maintain & restore many vehicles.
This service included a camblet change ensuring this example is ready to be enjoyed should the buyer wish.

Body & Paintwork
Finished in the Iconic World Rally Blue with the original Gold STI alloys it doesn’t get much better than this for a Subaru enthusiast.
All paintwork has just benefitted from a single stage machine polish & presents very well indeed, it really is a beautiful original example.
Badges, glass, lights, trims all appear to be original & are in great condition, as can be seen in the pictures.
Wheels also present well, with only the smallest of age related imperfections.
Interior
Just like the rest of the car, the interior is in lovely, well cared for condition.

Sitting in the drivers seat the interior presents as new, no worn switches, no bolster wear to the seats, no or holes in the dashboard from aftermarket gauges or such like.
The steering wheel, gear knob, pedal rubbers all present in near new condition.
The original Subaru CD & Cassette player is still fitted & works as it should, as do all switches & controls.
Engine
With the Prodrive Performance Pack this Impreza really does impress, with a claimed power output of over 300bhp & a claimed 0-60mph time of around 4. 5 seconds, this car feels quick even by today’s standards.
Obviously the car starts & runs beautifully, no smoke or unwanted noises either when cold on start up or when warm & on the road either on boost or on over run.
The car performs cleanly through the rev range with no hesitations.
As can be seen, the engine bay itself presents beautifully, with zero modifications, it is exactly as Subaru intended.
Running Gear
We have had this car on one of our ramps for a service & having been garaged all it’s life the underside is in very good condition, with only minor surface corrosion to running gear in places.
We have fitted new Falken tyres all round so this Impreza is ready to hit the road.
The car drives absolutely brilliantly, having driven a lot of Subaru’s, this really stands out in the way it drives.
