Fully restored Austin Healey MK2 3000cc BJ7 This 1963 Big Healey 3000 MK2 Roadster is a very pleasant car to drive.
The car has undergone a complete restoration over the last few years to factory specification and the interior colours and codes have been fully respected. In my opinion, the MK2 is one of the nicest as the old dashboard has been retained and the car is now fitted with rotating handles to raise the windows.
The suspension is also lower than on later models, which gives this car a sportier look and makes it a lot of fun to drive. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust is present with the car as well as a complete folder with documents and information about this car. It was driven very occasionally. This explains the beauty of the headlights and the excellent technical and structural condition with only 5500km on the clock.
This classic British Roadster is an icon of the spirit of the era when sports cars were used for sporty driving and to enable individuals to take part in famous races, which is why Healey cars still have that reputation. Austin Healeys have proven themselves as exciting sports cars, capable of holding their own in serious rallying.

The 3-litre in-line 6-cylinder engine has been completely professionally overhauled and, in combination with the triple carburettor system, delivers marvellous performance.
The same goes for the manual gearbox with overdrive.
Of course (like the rest of the car), the chassis is rust free and has been restored as meticulously as the rest of the car. The car has been restored using only the highest quality materials.
The chromed wire rims typical of knock offs complete the picture. The black and red exterior on the red interior is probably one of the most elegant combinations possible for this roadster.
Speaking of the interior, all the original 'smiths' instruments work perfectly. No missing switches or broken dials.
The red leather on the 4 seats, door panels and dashboard is brand new, as are the carpets, rubbers, etc.
