The DB7 Vantage V12 debuted at a pivotal moment in Aston Martin’s history, marking the end of the brand’s reliance on Jaguar-sourced engines and the beginning of an era of bold, self-engineered powerplants. Built in the same factory as the Jaguar XJ220, the DB7 is the only ‘modern’ Aston Martin to utilise a steel monocoque body.
