For sale is my 2002 Mk4 VW Golf GTI 1. 8T.
Mechanically this car is in great condition, the engine and gearbox is strong, there is loads of life left in the discs and pads and has four matching tyres with plenty of tread. Passed its MOT on 18th November 2024 with no advisories.
Bodywork is also incredible for a car of this age and mileage. Only a few very slight marks to speak of and it is still sporting it's original dealer numberplates (Beadles, Sevenoaks). The alloy wheels are in amazing condition with minimal marks.
I am the third owner with the last two both being local and the last working at the dealer just mentioned. It has loads of service history using VW or equivalent parts and I also have the original bill of sale, 2 working keys and book pack!
This is sure to be a future classic has had a lot of work done over the past 500 miles to keep it in great condition using mostly FEBI/ good quality parts.

I have also replaced/ added things like wheel centre caps, front GTI badge, interior door light and gear knob top.
Interior wise it is again very clean with slight wear but no rips to the drivers seat and steering wheel. It has a boot liner which has kept the carpet in the boot spotless!
The only things that do not make this car 100% perfect are as follows:
-Rear wiper comes on when you start the car (goes off when you wash the front screen)
- N/ S rear door lock module needs replacing but can be opened and locked from inside
- Headlining is starting to sag slightly
Overall this car is really clean and runs brilliantly but I have built quite a collection of cars and sadly this one has to go to fund the next. Open to sensible offers.
