This well presented 1982 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster is offered in good order throughout and has had just five owners from new. The paintwork is bright and only shows minor signs of age, having been treated to a full respray sometime ago, in the attractive metallic green you see today. The chrome work retains a deep shine and the engine bay is presented well. The interior of the SL is also very good having been treated to an extensive retrim. More recently the Mercedes has had much mechanical maintenance with bills totalling over £14, 000 since 2021! In October 2024 the SL enjoyed an annual service and Mot, passing first time, and has also benefitted from a new mohair hood, minor paint repair, and general maintenance. The SL runs and drives very well and is huge amounts of fun.
Offered with a sizeable history file detailing its life the SL has covered 230, 221 miles from new and comes complete with its original and extensively stamped service book, maintenance booklet, many invoices for work carried out, sundry bills, various old Mot records, the current UK registration document, and an Mot valid until November 2024.
