The vehicle has been completely overhauled, it has a Ford V8 390 FE engine, and by design the HTM (Hi-Tech Motorsports) are of a very fine production quality close to the original AC Cobra and its founder Tom Di Antonio having joined Caroll Shelby to direct the production of the new Cobra continuation CSX4000 from 96. Considered and recognised by connoisseurs as the production of an exact copy of the Shelby. The chassis is totally identical to the original, rare and true works of art, they are highly sought after in the USA by collectors. So difficult is it to distinguish them from the originals, they are considered to be a continuation. The very rare departures from this fidelity were conceded to obtain a gain in performance and quality. Ventilated brake discs (12. 2'' diameter) and Wilwood calipers (4 pistons), the steel of the main tubes that make up the chassis is 2'5'' mm thick on the HTM as opposed to 2'4'' mm on an original Cobra, thus improving rigidity, the radiator also has better cooling capacity, and on our model a second fan has been fitted, the suspension has been improved with QA1 threaded suspensions, shock absorbers and combos.
