Just arrived here at the garage we have this utterly superb MGB Roadster in teal blue, Overdrive gearbox, and with the added benefit of having power steering fitted- such a transformation when trying to maneuver in tight spaces.
Car comes to us direct from the previous owner who now finds that a four seater classic would be more appropriate at this moment in time, but had space not been a problem would have liked to have keep both.
Having done an in-depth inspection on the car it is clear to see this has been a quality restoration and well cared for car. The factory teal blue bodywork is in fantastic shape with really good shut lines and zero rust. Brightwork most of which is as new, and there is nothing negative to report on the chassis or floor pans. The black vinyl hood is in great condition and the car also comes with half and full tonneau covers. The diamond cut Minilite wheels in our opinion with the gun metal grey colour really complement the blue coachwork and are so much easier to keep clean.
The interior with the more appealing dark navy seats and like new MG owners club matching carpets extend into the boot.
Everything in virtually top condition with no signs of wear or damage. Fully functional instrumentation with the added benefit of a Pioneer stereo, fire extinguisher, and a Mountney steering wheel.
Along with the power steering the car is fitted with H4 headlights, new front grill, oil cooler, K&nN filters, recent new radiator and clutch and slave cylinder, so really does seem to want for nothing.
Strong oil pressure hot and cold and starts and idles beautifully.
When you drive this car especially as compared to many others there are no knocks, rattles, or vibrations- just delivers a ultra smooth and responsive ride with everything working in harmony together. A comment made during a road test on this very car by a well known magazine a while ago (if they all MGBs drove this well we would all want one ) A comment we fully endorse.
