2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage
Registration - V12 VCV
Chassis No. - SCFEABCF9AGS00478
M. O. T. - February 2025
Odometer - 22, 000
This thrilling 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage is without doubt one of the firm’s most iconic recent models, and a sure-fire collectable. Boasting a sublime 6. 0-litre V12 engine that produces 510bhp, it is paired with a classic six-speed manual transmission, for a genuinely thoroughbred driving experience. A stunning-looking machine finished in Storm Black, it features the four distinctive carbon fibre bonnet louvres that mark out the V12 Vantage from lesser V8 models. The iconic V12 fills the engine bay beneath. The vendor describes both the engine and transmission as being in ‘excellent’ condition, with ‘good’ bodywork, electrics and interior. It also has an MOT valid until the end of February 2025, and the vendor adds that the high-end carbon ceramic brakes have lots of life left in them
‘V12VCV’, which has had just two previous owners, has a full main dealer service history and an odometer reading just 22, 000 miles. “It comes with all the paperwork and stamps in the book.” The vendor says they have mainly used the car to attend the Le Mans 24 Hours, along with touring around Europe. A highlight of the leather-lined interior is a premium 1, 000-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system. The V12 Vantage comes with both the valet key and crystal key “with the crystal in good condition”. The vendor adds that, reassuringly, it has always been kept in a garage.
The muscular Aston Martin V12 Vantage was introduced in 2009 as a full-fat 6. 0-litre V12 version of the existing Aston Martin V8. Using the giant engine from the larger Aston Martin DBS, it could do 0-62mph in 4. 2 seconds and hit 190mph flat-out. Key visual changes over the V8 were a new rear diffuser, carbon ceramic brakes plus vented bonnet and bootlid made from carbon fibre. On the 13th series of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson described it as “wonderful, wonderful, wonderful”.
