PORSCHE 356 B HARDTOP COUPE KARMANN 90CV 1961 - The Porsche 356 was the brand's first model. The evolution of the 356 was constant throughout its production history. Various changes were introduced throughout its production. It is a light and agile car, with a rear engine, rear-wheel drive, two doors, available in Coupé, Cabriolet, Roadster and HardTop configurations. The first Porsche 356 was certified on 8 June 1948 in Austria. It was a Porsche 356/ 1 Roadster produced in Gmünd, Austria. It was equipped with a 1, 100 cm3 air-cooled flat-four engine. More than 50 cars were built in Gmünd and sold mainly in Austria and Germany. In 1950, the factory was relocated to Stuttcart-Zuffenhausen. For the 1960 model year, the 356 A was replaced by the redesigned 356 B. An exclusive ‘Karmann hardtop’ or ‘notchback’ 356 B model was produced in 1961 and 1962. Only 1, 747 Coachwork by Karmann were produced. This beautiful and rare example has undergone a complete restoration process and is in an excellent state of preservation. It is a National car (one of the few units to be sold in Portugal), sold and delivered new, through ‘Guérin Lda’, the Porsche dealer at the time. It is presented in an elegant combination of Signal Red exterior and black interior. It has a Porsche Certificate. Matching Numbers and Matching Colours.
