Following on from Honda's collaboration with Triumph over the Ballade/ Acclaim, the Concerto/ Rover 200 cemented the relationship and prompted Honda to develop their UK operations still further
Manufactured at Longbridge, the Concerto and the Rover 200 were largely similar but for bonnets and grille pressings, however the Honda's more niche appeal and lack of historical baggage probably makes it a wiser used buy today
The 1. 4GL was a launch model and phased out in January 1992 making it the rarest example of the now sought after Concerto
Predominantly owned by one family since its purchase in the early 1990s
Just under 46, 500 miles with an excellent service history and a recent MOT
It presents very well, with just a few minor age-related marks to bumpers and paintwork offering the chance to add value with further detailing
Not really a modern classic, but its rarity would attract much interest at events like the 'Festival of the Unexceptional' or similar, or maybe it could simply carry on life as a well built, reliable, low-mileage, 1990s family saloon
