The car was profoundly updated in the early 60s to make it competitive.
The FORD 105/ E engine was also installed in place of the SIMCA 1100 cc engine. Presumably at the beginning of the 60s when the displacement of the Classe 1100 Sport became 1000 cc (one thousand).
