Description
Our BSA B40 Star was manufactured 1961 making it the first of BSA’s new line of 350cc single cylinder motorcycles introduced in early ’61. The B40 was a re-engineered version of the smaller 250cc BSA C15, with improved suspension, larger brakes, and most importantly the more powerful 350cc four stroke engine producing 21 horsepower.
964 UM has been tastefully modified over the years, and now presents very nicely as an older restoration that has been built to an enduro style specification.
Having spent the last year with a Norfolk-based customer of ours, the BSA has been used for short local runs in the countryside and has been a perfectly reliable classic bike. The engine kicks over nicely with good compression, the bike pulls up through the gears excellently and is a delight to ride.
