The car is in Northern Ireland and comes with a standard UK V5 registration document. It can be used anywhere in the UK without reregistering or incurring any import duties. Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes averages £400.
The revolutionary design of the Mini was created by Sir Alec Issigonis, considered a visionary in industrial transportation.
Too many new parts to list them all, but include new chrome all round, new window and door rubbers, new brake master cylinder and brake pipes, new rear subframe, new exhaust, new battery, new ball joints and on and on.
The exterior is in very good condition, with a few blemishes, which is to be expected on a 38 year-old car.
The interior is good, as is the chrome work, underneath, under the bonnet and in the boot.
Driving very well with no untoward knocking noise, rattles or bangs.
Owning a classic car is a hobby and you will spend time and money in ongoing care and maintenance, this is part of the joy of owning a classic car.
Please don’t compare her to a new car. She’s 38 years old, and as with any car of this age there will always be jobs to attend to and improvements that can be made. There may be imperfections, blemishes and wear and tear in there somewhere, even if not apparent on first veiwing.
The description provided reflects my honest opinion based on my experience with the car. However, opinions can vary, and what I see as minor, you may view differently. If you're considering purchasing, I strongly encourage you to examine and test the car in person to ensure it meets your expectations and suits your needs.
This will give you the opportunity to fully appreciate its condition and assess whether it’s the right car for you.
