On the road the ‘8’ belies her age with a capable engine/ gearbox, nice steering and good brakes making the Standard one of the best driving tourers that you could wish to own from this era of motoring.
I really like this car. She is as “bright as a button” and the Art-Deco’ styling with the trademark ‘waterfall’ radiator, large chrome headlamps and bumpers make these Standards a little bit special.
Perfect for classic car shows, Goodwood Revival, film work or simply a run out through the lanes for an afternoon cream tea we recommend early viewing in order to fully appreciate the charms of this stunning car.
