Description
2000 Jaguar XK8 4. 0 Automatic Convertible. Mistral Blue metallic with Cashmere leather upholstery and Navy hood. The Jaguar XK8 (project code X100) is a grand tourer launched by Jaguar Cars in 1996, and was the first generation of a new XK series. The XK8 was available in two-door coup? or two-door convertible body styles with the new 4. 0-litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The first-generation of the XK series shares its XJS-derived platform with the Aston Martin DB7, with both cars tracing their history back to an abandoned Jaguar development study in the mid-1980s known as XJ41/ XJ42, which had been mooted to be known as the F-Type. Supplied new on 2nd December 2000 to Mr Green of Kent by Lancaster Jaguar Sevenoaks. The Jaguar has been well cared for throughout its life and accompanying the car is a large history folder containing lots of bills, invoices and old mot certificates as well as the original dealers wallet, original stamped service book, all manuals and handbooks and 2 keys. Presenting very well the paintwork and upholstery really do belie the age and mileage of the car which is testament to the previous owners and care that the XK has received with all work thoroughly detailed with paperwork on file. Mechanically the car is just as strong and runs and drives just as you would expect with a strong engine and smooth changing five speed automatic transmission. It has all of the creature comforts you would expect which includes electric operating seats, and a fully electric opening hood. Having now covered 138, 000 miles you could be forgiven for thinking it has actually done a lot less. A fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. In summary a great value classic styled British convertible that is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Absolutely any inspection welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. U. K delivery arranged. Please contact us for any further information. Lots more pictures and a video on our website and Facebook page.
