This example is a 1960 Rover P4 100 finished in Black with a lovely contrasting Red interior. First registered on 14th July 1960 to Babcock & Wilcox Ltd, the car now shows 93, 000 miles and is accompanied by the original buff logbook.
Outside, the car presents well - the Black paintwork is in good condition for its age, showing a few minor imperfections here and there, namely on the doors. The Rover sits very well and has evidently been subject to an older restoration. The interior wood and dashboard are well presented. The front seats have been recovered in leatherette, although the rear appears to be in original specification.
These Rovers go ever so well, and with a fantastic club (Rover P4 Drivers’ Guild) and parts readily available make for easy and enjoyable classic car ownership. Cheap to run and a reliable engine, which is more than capable of keeping up with modern day traffic.
