Renault 5 GT Turbo
R5 GTT show car. I've owned this car since 2021 and loved every minute. The car has been invited to be shown at Players Classic (Goodwood) over the last couple of years, shown in the Auto Finesse arena and always gets lots of attention.
I've been lucky to have the incredible Mark Galvin work on this car for me over the years.
The previous owner had a bodyshop and resprayed it Oynx Black and retrimmed the entire interior with suede and flocking. The car was restored by him in 2021 including all bodywork, making the underneath solid and completely re-trimming the interior.
This is a real one-off R5 GTT that has been well looked after and a favourite at shows.

1. 4 GT Turbo engine
Uprated T25 Turbo, fully rebuilt with 360 degree bearings by Midland Turbo about 500 miles ago.
(The turbo has a 0. 49 exhaust housing and a 41. 7 inducer and 53. 9 exducer compression wheel)
Engine has new liners and bearings
Ported and flowed head reported by previous owner
Rebuilt carb - tuned and set up by Mark Galvin
Piper 270 race cam
Vernier Pulley set up and dialled in by Mark Galvin
Uprated chain, springs and tensioner
Uprated actuator
Brembo front and rear pads
Big front brake conversion with 285mm discs

Resprayed 3 years ago in Aston Martin Onyx pearl black (black with silver/ blue flake)

The car is a real head turner and sounds great. It's in superb condition throughout. May have some minor imperfections but it is 36 years old!!
