1972 MGBGT in excellent condition , including fully detailed underneath with many new parts . Painted , with new stainless exhaust, new leaf springs, shock absorbers, steering parts, suspension etc etc.
Comprehensive history and receipt file dating back to 2010 showing alot of money spent.
Mechanically very good , with regular servicing , oil changes and maintenance. The engine and engine bay are very clean . On the road the overdrive kicks in fine in 3rd and 4th and the car drives very well indeed.
The cylinder head was replaced in 2021 and the clutch assembly in June 2024.
Engine fully reconditioned in 2018. Additional electric fan , servo assisted brakes .
The bodywork is very good with just the odd small imperfection as done 13 years ago, so doesn, t present as new !! But very good. The chrome work is all very good.
Fairly new replica Minilite wheels with all new radials fitted.
The interior again is very good , with very light wear. All gauges appear to function correctly. There is the addition of MG overcast and stainless cill plates.
With probably the best parts availability and low cost owning this MGBGT is probably the most inexpensive way of enjoying the classic car scene.
