The car is in superb condition throughout, driving every bit as well as it looks. Rarely found in such amazing condition, it combines stunning good looks with a great driving experience.

Accompanied by a large history file, that includes numerous invoices and MOT certificates up to the present. Although MOT exempt, it's currently MOT'd to December 2024.

The exterior is truly stunning, in virtually unmarked condition, with only the most discerning eye able to spot any minor imperfections.

Likewise the interior is in excellent condition showing no more than very minor wear. She is fitted with front and rear seat belts.

She starts and drives exactly as she should, running smoothly without any unusual knocks, rattles, or known issues.

Please keep in mind, she’s 56 years old, and even in a car this amazing condition, there will always be small tasks to address and room for improvement.

Owning a classic car is a hobby and you will spend time and money in ongoing care and maintenance, this is part of the joy of owning a classic car.

While imperfections on this car are hard to find, beauty is often in the eye of the beholder. The cars description is based on my opinion and may differ from yours.

If you're considering buying, I recommend you inspect the car to ensure its right for you.

The Wolseley Hornet, built at Longbridge, revived a 1930s name with a special Mini variant featuring an extended tail, larger boot, distinct Wolseley grille, and upgraded interior, similar to the Riley Elf.

Initially equipped with an 848cc engine and rubber-cone suspension, the Hornet offered more soundproofing and comfort than the standard Mini.

1963, the Mk II introduced a 998cc engine, boosting power to 38 bhp, with a top speed of 77 mph and improved fuel economy. Hydrolastic suspension followed in 1964.

The Mk III, launched in 1966, added wind-up windows and improved ventilation. Production of the Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf ended in 1969, closing the chapter on these distinctive Mini derivatives.
