We are pleased to offer this very sound MGB Roadster. It has come to us direct from the previous owner of the past 26 years, who was only parting with it due to lack of use. It is an extremely genuine car and comes with its original purchase invoice from John Sparks Ltd in Streatham for the princely sum of £1210. It has its original hood frame bag in the boot, tonneau cover and hood cover.
The history file dates back many years including old mots, lots of bills for servicing and repairs at regular local garages. It runs and drives really well, with overdrive functioning correctly, maintains steady oil pressure and temperature. A kenlowe fan has been fitted. New front brake calipers and hoses, new exhaust. The underside is very sound with no obvious issues. The hood is in good condition and the interior is very presentable
The paintwork looks good from a distance, but up close there are various micro blisters, crazing etc. to make a really nice car it will require a re spray. However there is no rust on the bodywork and nothing that stands out as needing attention. Chrome work again is very presentable, it has painted wire wheels including spare with an unused tyre.
The mileage is displaying 85320 which looks to be correct as far as we can ascertain by the history we have available but we cannot obviously guarantee it.
The v5 shows just 4 former keepers and as mentioned above the gentleman we purchased it from had it for 26 years. It has been extremely well cared for in that time and always garaged.
We have priced the MG to allow the next owner to repaint it should they wish or just use it as it is.
