The Mk3 Golf was launched in 1991 (1992 in the UK and produced until 1998. The GTI version in 8v form produced 116bhp allowing 130 mph top speed.
This car is a 1997 MK3 GTi in white. The mileage is correct at 90k, it has had just three owners from new, (the current lady owner since 2019) and is MOT'd until October 2025. Oil change service just completed. It has a decent amount of service history for the early part of its life some more recent invoices.
Four years ago it was treated to a comprehensive body restoration and re-paint; new front wings were fitted and various sections were repaired with all of the metal-work completed to a high standard (photos available). It presents and drives beautifully and the interior trim is in good order. Fitted with a working, period face off stereo.
The Mk3 GTI has not yet caught up with the prices of the earlier cars but values are starting to rise and the three door cars are quite rare. This one is very good - all of the hard work has been done and it is ready to use.
