This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the Warwickshire Event Centre on Saturday the 7th of December, Warwickshire Event Centre, CV31 1XN.
First registered in Surrey during 1964, little is known about this ‘Woodie’ apart from the fact that it was off the road from the 1990s until 2022
A full restoration was commenced at that point, all detailed in the accompanying 'photobook'
Originally 'Black', the restoration was comprehensive and included the Ash frame, new rear doors and fresh metalwork where required
The original 48bhp 1, 098cc A-Series engine and gearbox were rebuilt and now sit happily in a very tidy engine bay
When the mechanical aspects were completed, the car was professionally refinished, inside and out, in Old English White
The interior is impressive with new seats and door cards in the original Cherokee Red, excellent chrome and switchgear and an original-style steering wheel
Supplied with the aforementioned photobook, restoration invoices, and previous SORN Certificates
Ready to be used and enjoyed by its next owner, we believe this well restored ‘woodie’ is one of the best we have seen and will be welcomed at any car show, concours event or club rally
