Description
Perhaps the cutest off-road vehicle ever built, the 1968 Ferves Ranger is now for sale with us. The little oddity with its delightful styling was first unveiled at the 1966 Turin Motor Show as an unusual and typically Italian version of the compact off-road vehicle. Designed by Carlo Ferrari, the name 'Ferves' is derived from the abbreviation Ferrari Veicoli Speciali ('Ferrari special vehicles'). After its introduction, Ferves would only produce 600 Rangers, meaning it would never become a common sight. This model is said to be one of about fifty known survivors.
This Ferves presented here is painted in the typical yellow colour and is two-wheel drive. This car is in perfect condition and drives, shifts and steers great. The bodywork looks great and has new tyres. A beautiful little off-road vehicle with an original Fiat engine for the true enthusiast of a small but relatively strong car.
