How does it drive?
The W124 offers an involving driving experience, especially when combined with the glorious straight Six cylinder engine and auto 5-speed gearbox.
The six has plentiful torque, but also a surprising enthusiasm for harder work when the gearbox is kicked down or a lower gear selected, the performance available feels entirely appropriate to the stateliness of the rest of the car.
