The BMW E31 8 series was the first ever 8 series model. Production ran from February 1990 through May 1999. This was BMW's flagship model which featured the latest technology and pushed on innovations for BMWs of that era along with the 7 series, as well as the most advanced engines. The BMW E31 series was only available as a V8 or V12 configuration. Worldwide sales continued until right up to 1999 with a total production run in all markets reaching 30, 609 units. This already makes this a rare car in its own right. If you use 8coupe. com - the 8 series register, you will see that this particular model with the v12 M70 engine (automatic) in the European market shows a total of 1046 cars delivered across all years, with just 37 sold in 1994 in all colours. - making this a rare find indeed!

General very good condition. No notable damage to note. Some marks commensurate with age and mileage, some window rubbed/ surrounds show some signs of wear. Generally very good. Underside seemed solid, no leaks that were noted. Inspections welcomed.
Interior
Leather in very good shape and order with only minor wear to bolsters. Carpets very good and rear seats virtually any sign of wear at all. Aftermarket alpine stereo, some very minor pixelation to control module, other than that totally in line with the vehicles low mileage.
Summary
An exceptional example of an increasingly rare BMW 850ci. Fantastic colour combination and genuinely low miles. Stunning v12 engine and a vehicle oozing luxury and performance. Owned for 11 years by a fastidious collector, having been enjoyed but well kept, and stored for a while. Good supporting documentation and a lovely specification. In our opinion a vehicle for a collector/ speculator. The vendors have stated that when a deposit for the purchase of the vehicle has been taken, the car will be sent for a health check and service prior to a new custodian taking possession
