Following on production of the Virage, In 1994 Aston Martin developed the all powerfull twin supercharged Vantage 550. With some 80% increase in power over the Virage the 550 BHP (540 ft lb torque) was claimed the most powerful production car of its time.
As well as power the Vantage was developed on a totally new chassis design, revised body styling, huge 340mm diameter AP racing brakes 18" unique alloy rims shod with 285/ 45ZR18 Goodyear Eagles. totally revised interior, dashboard, and so on.
Top speed was claimed at 300 kph (189 mph)
