Description
This is a totally original, non-restored Honda XR350 from 1985. I have owned the bike since it was imported from Bell Canyon, California in 2014. The bike is in excellent condition, as with many imports from California, it has had very little use and no corrosion issues. The bike was MOT tested 4 times until I brought the bike over to France in 2020, where the bike is now registered and insured for use. The bike was independently verified and history reviewed by FFFVE, Federation Francaise des Vehicules D’epoque as part of the historic vehicle registration process. The bike is in stand out original condition. It has use and wear marks but is clearly a well looked after bike. This was the final 86 model iteration of the bike and Honda would not make another at this capacity until the XR400 model was introduced in 1996. I spent many months looking for this model and the condition and patina that I wanted. This bike perfectly satisfied my wish list. An original bike with all correct fittings and originality of parts and detail of this final type XR350. The bikes starts and rides like a Honda should. It makes for an excellent bike for a collection or would still be competitive in classic enduro use. It is a super nimble and for a four stroke bike lightweight. The classic Honda build quality and Showa suspension remain a good combination. There are few wear marks in the lower frame rail to the pegs, the front mudguard has some scuff marks along with the RH side panel. There is some age, sun fading of the plastics but as stated previously the bike is in excellent original condition.
