The ultimate specification and built to a very high standard. This bus is a German built model in 1967, the last year of production of the T1 bus. The bus is a Right-Hand Drive model that was supplied to the UK new and is also a walk-through variant, highly sought after featuring the split front bulk head allowing you to walk from the front to the rear without the need to exit the vehicle.
This is particularly useful for pets, children and if you get caught in wet weather whilst camping. It also gives for a larger feeler space inside. The icing on the cake is that this bus is an original Dormobile conversion featuring their famous and iconic side elevating full width pop top roof. This transforms the space and head height inside of the van.
There is plenty of information online about Dormobile but a true testament to the quality of their product is the fact they are still going strong today. Out of all of the VW roofs produced over the years I would always vouch for this as being by far the best!
There is also twin fold up hammocks within the roof space ideal for children / small adults or even just a place to store large items when camping to free up space. This effectively makes this bus a 4-berth model.
This bus has undergone an enormous restoration that was orchestrated by the previous owner at no expense. The bus has been stripped to bare metal and the entire shell removed of everything whilst it has been carefully prepared, primed and painted in the stunning 1960s pale blue / white colour scheme. The entire underside has been painted in body coloured textured blue to match so that you can visually see the metal. This is imperative when buying a classic VW bus.

After the main restoration work had been completed, it was then time for us to build and install one of our high-end bespoke interiors. We pride ourselves on producing some of the best VW Camper Interiors available. Each one is built bespoke by a team of specialists and as such we only have limited capacity to do a handful per year, valuing quality over quantity.
All the products, appliances and materials are of the highest standard and have been tried and tested, to ensure the best possible user experience. • Flip down rear facing buddy seat to match with 2’’ matching seat cushion.
• Brand new upholstery throughout in Navy Blue with several fluted embellishments in White vinyl.
• Brand new headliner in original style perforated off white vinyl.
• Main bespoke cabinetry finished in Arctic light grey laminate featuring side facing unit to house appliances. Built by a skilled joiner to offer a unique feel to the inside of this bus.
• Waeco CRX50 Fridge with flush mount surround frame.
• CAN SRL Sink / Double Gas burner unit.
• All appliances the best available tried and tested products.
• Worktops and table finished in black woodgrain and curved Devon edging trim to retain a retro feel inside.
• Curved matching laminate bed skirting board to sit flush with frame.
• All joinery built with raised and recessed plinth section to house ambient RGBW colour changing LED strip lighting. Controllable by remote all different colours. This offers not only a great statement when entering the bus but additional lighting.
• Curtain tracks all round and new themed curtain set black out lined with popper tie backs. Matching and similar themed cushions also.
• Inertia front seat belts (Rears can be added upon request if required).
