This Series IIA's in pristine, rust-free condition. Its a meticulously restored treasure - would easily qualify as one of the tidiest examples in NZ.
Think 4×4, and you automatically think Land Rover. There is no denying that the Ser 2A Land Rover is one of the most recognisable UK-built cars out there, which is quite an achievement for a model that never had style or appearance in mind.
The interior is undeniably simplistic, featuring just a few dials and switches.
The non-power-assisted steering is not cumbersome at all and the rough ride provided by the leaf-sprung suspension setup makes for a very characterful, and therefore amusing, ride.
Being a Series 2A, we get slightly curved hips running down either side of the bodywork, used to make the doors thicker and conceal the handles, but we still have the headlamps mounted on top of the narrow front grille.
Its go-anywhere nature makes the Series 2A a truly versatile classic, and its ability to be hosed down makes it one which you shouldn’t be scared of using regardless of the weather or the season.
We love Land Rovers and so driven by passion, we're always on the hunt for the best of them - We should note that this is a MINT Example that can almost be described in LIKE NEW condition.
