HISTORY The MGA or MG Type A was a roadster sports car produced by the British car manufacturer MG (Morris Garages). It was presented at the 1955 Frankfurt Motor Show and built until 1962. It succeeded the MG T-type roadsters of 1936, making the manufacturer the world leader in the sports car market.
