Here is a very good up and running well sorted example of the Velocette Venom the sporting 500cc single. This one still has its original engine, frame and registration number. It comes with V5C doc and the original buff log book from 1961. All number match .
Registration YVY449 is transferable.
The bike starts well runs well and and sounds great. No smoke and mechanically very good sounding as well as having an awesome exhaust note of course!
Rides really well, everso lively, responsive yet flexible and fun to ride. Loads of torque but will rev as well, in other words - it's quick!
Speedo works, dynamo works charging all correct 6V Miller system. This bike has been sympathetically recommissioned a while back with quite a lot done mechanically. It has been well used and remains a very useable mount. It is not pristine, the priority here has been practicality but there is plenty of scope and potential to make either a lot better cosmetically or to simply enjoy the bike as it is in a semi street scrambles style. Only guards and a correct duel seat would be required to return this bike to very standard condition.
