Description

The Austin Light Twelve-Four is a car that was produced by Austin from 1933 until 1939. The "12" in the name referred to the horsepower, a British rating which controlled the annual taxation payable to use the car on the road.

This 1933 Austin Light 12/ 4 Harley is an absolutely stunning example - it really is as good as it looks!

It starts and runs very well indeed, the engine sounds very sweet and, although not a racing car, it does go along very nicely. The drivetrain is very quiet and there are no nasty noises at all, the gear change is very direct and the clutch smooth. It has been fitted with indicators which are suitable for modern day driving and recently had brand new tyres and inner tubes.

The paint work has been carried out to a very high standard and is one of the best we have ever seen. It has kept very well and was most likely a concourse job when first completed. There is the odd imperfection/ scratch but otherwise it’s immaculate.

The interior is no exception - in keeping with the outside it has been finished to an extremely high standard and a lovely addition is the sunroof.

Car comes with a large amount of history and paperwork including the current V5.

MOT and TAX exempt, including ULEZ com.

Please feel free to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing - a walk around video is available that can be shared.
