Selling this very handy truck on behalf of one of our very good customers who has sadly got to downscale his leisure pursuits due to ill health, privately used to transport vintage tractors to shows for the last 9 years, everything he owns is well looked after and in good condition.
We are a little out our depth with this one but we will try our best to answer any sensible questions, current owner and private use since 2015, first registered Nov 2009, the clock is showing “158615 mi” which we assume will be miles not Km, it has a current test until 1st April 2025, Max gross 7500kg, we weighed the truck today, half tank of fuel, spare wheel, ramps, straps, no driver or passenger and its 3900kg (we have the dated stamped ticket) so your total allowable load is 3600kg.
The body is 21’ long and 7’ wide it’s an expensive lightweight ally construction with planked floor, stow away ally ramps and a large front mounted winch, there is storage over the cab under the wind deflector for straps and ropes. There is a digital tachograph system in the cab, but this has not been used and presumably not calibrated since 2015 due to private use, it has three-seater cab and 5 speed manual gearbox.
It arrived here with us on Saturday having completed a 100-mile journey loaded with a 2700kg tractor (also being sold), we took the truck out today to get it weighed and it, starts, runs, drives, turns and stops exactly as it should, no weird noises, whines or groans, it pulls very well.
We’ve not inspected it or been under it, we have noted a headlamp bulb is out, we’ve not yet figured out the winch, there is a “Tyre Pressure” warning that flashes up on start and occasional the “ABS” light comes on and goes off again, we are assured the truck has always done this little electronic glitch foible and that the ABS is indeed fully functioning.
We are trying to be honest and fair to both our customer and potential buyers, this is not an invitation for ridiculous offers or snide comments if we’ve overlooked something obvious to truck aficionados, it’s here to be sold, sensible & reasonable offers will be considered.
Will try to accommodate any inspections and viewings which will be outdoors only, test drives available subject to license and insurance compliance.
Very good carrying capacity, sensible miles, good load bed length and it’s led a charmed life for the last 9 years.
