1978 Ford Escort Mk2 van in need of restoration but does run and is fitted with an Ax block crossflow. If you know about these you will know what thats worth on its own. NOVa declaration done and all tax paid. We will help with the paperwork to Uk register.
Body - Mk2 Escort Van. Good inner wings, strut tops. sills. Arches feel Ok. Round the roof gutters are fine. all doors are good. Someone has modified the bulkhead lip with a jaggy mallet and its a bit bent back but would straighten. The front floor pans have been repaired with chewing gum, sticking plasters, and fibreglass but cut them out and replace then it doesnt matter how rough they were!. Back floors look good. Rear lower valance looks to have had a bit action in the plop shop so that will need investigating. Paint has been done in the delightful colour of Bogging Biege.. think the paint code is SH-1-T. Joking apart needs repairs but defo not the worse starting point
Mechanics - AX block 1. 6 crossflow which does start and run. We have not driven it as no throttle cable connected so cant really comment on any of the other marvellous mechanical bits. Expect to have to go right through it but all there.
Interior - Its bonfire night coming up.... you know what im saying.
Wheels - 3 horrible ones and one even horribler if thats even a word....
Defo not a bad starting point for a project but it is a full restoration. You are welcome to come and marvel at its beauty but if you want it to look good remember the 9 ciders, 3 vodkas and so on..... We have a ramp if you want to look underneath. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
