Description
Dutton Cars, based in Worthing, England was a maker of kit cars between 1970 and 1989. At the time, it was the largest kit-car manufacturer in the world.
This 1985 Dutton Phaeton is very much an unfinished project which has some great features about it.
These include 2. 0 Pinto with 205 block, forged pistons and con rods and a Sierra E max head, which has been polished and ported, including a fast road camshaft. It is also fitted with a RS2000 rear axle, as well as custom rear leaf springs and SPAX front springs and shocks.
The car is very much as we found it, the engine turns over and on the whole it is mainly complete although it will need a radiator.
It was last on the road 3 years ago with some MOT history online.
